📄 We’re Published!
Our comparative clinical study has just been published — a landmark moment for Radii. The research, carried out across three UK NHS sites, compared sockets shaped using our evidence-generated (EG) starting points with those designed through traditional CAD/CAM workflows.
The results were striking: patients rated comfort in both groups as comparable, with EG sockets showing lower variability in scores. This consistency means clinicians can begin every design from a reliable, high-quality baseline — knowing that adjustments in riiForm are building on solid foundations rather than starting from scratch.
In short, the study confirms what many clinicians have already experienced in practice: when robust data meets clinical expertise, patients benefit from comfort and consistency.

We’re excited to share some news: Radii Devices is collaborating with SHINING 3D!
This collaboration brings together SHINING 3D’s high-performance scanning solutions and our intuitive, evidence-based prosthetic fitting software, riiForm. The result? A faster, smoother way for clinicians to move from scan to socket.

🌍 ISPO 2025: Global Conversations in Stockholm
In June, our CEO Joshua Steer and US Clinical Success Manager Maggie Brooks attended the ISPO World Congress — a global hub for prosthetics and orthotics experts.
We were proud to spotlight our latest comparative study on evidence-generated sockets, alongside findings from our DASA-funded project, which explored how a simple mobile app can help patients report socket comfort in real time, improving communication with clinicians and giving patients a stronger voice in their care.
The conference was a valuable opportunity to share evidence, connect with colleagues worldwide, and explore the future of patient-centred prosthetic care.
